COMO HOUSE, MELBOURNE

Another significant heritage property in Melbourne operated by our friends at the National Trust (Victoria). The unique ways of building the footings in 1947 have begun to weaken over time and the purpose of the project is to underpin part of the house to provide added support. Additional works involve timber window repairs, structural floor and wall strengthen, waterproofing, and traditional lime putty render.

A project in which will require a collective involvement by all parties. The access, the structural integrity of the house, and the sequencing of the complex underpinning must be performed correctly to ensure project success.
